Epiroc has announced it has signed a deal to acquire a 53% stake in Australian wireless connectivity company Radlink, though financial details are undisclosed.

The acquisition, which is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year, is not subject to disclosure obligations. Perth-based Radlink has about 330 employees.

“Radlink’s powerful network connectivity solutions will support Epiroc as we continue to provide mining companies with automation and digital solutions that make operations safer and more efficient,” said Epiroc president and CEO Helena Hedblom.

“We look forward to welcoming the strong team at Radlink to Epiroc.”
