bellevueThe scope of work includes construction, development and production activities for the underground mine. Work is set to begin during the June quarter.

Develop Managing Director Bill Beament said the team is ideal for the work at Bellevue due to its WA gold project experience. In addition, Bellevue’s strong commitments to ESG targets are aligned with Develop’s own core beliefs.

“This is an enormous opportunity for both companies,” he said. “It is one of the largest contracts in the WA gold mining industry. It is also one of the most environmentally ambitious projects, with the aim of producing Australia’s first carbon-neutral gold.”

Develop said its work will be conducted in parallel with its exploration and development activities at the Woodlawn zinc-copper project in NSW and its Sulphur Springs copper-zinc project in the Pilbara.
