International events organiser Montgomery Asia announced the 2021 edition of the Geo Connect Asia (GCA) conference has been shortlisted as a finalist for best conference of the year.

The award is organised by the Association of Exhibition Organisers (AEO), which is celebrating 100 years of service to the events industry. They will be gathering event professionals from across the industry this December.

“The Geo Connect Asia team is honoured to be selected as one of the finalists for the Best Conference category despite staging its inaugural event organised in the most challenging of circumstances,” organisers said. 

“The team would like to express their gratitude to all the support they have received, contributing to the astounding success of the event.

GCA 2021 attracted more than 1,400 visitors in a hybrid format. The 2022 show and conference returns to Singapore 23-24 March 2022 as an in-person event and is receiving exceptional industry support.

Geo Connect Asia is the annual meeting place for Southeast Asia’s geospatial, remote sensing and location intelligence markets and includes specialist events for the digital construction and UAV industries.
