GHH India’s contractor arm BUMI Mining Service has been awarded Best Performing Business Partner by zinc producer Vedanta Group/Hindustan Zinc.
The best performer honour was announced during an online event attended by founder and executive chairman Anil Agarwal, Vedanta Resources Limited; Sunil Duggal, Vedanta Group CEO; and Arun Misra, CEO, Hindustan Zinc, along with their remaining executive team members.
The equipment maker said it was chosen from all of the company’s business partners.
“Over the last six months, GHH Bumi has been doing contract mining at Zawar Mala mine, and has been presented the award based on excellent performance involving all mining contract activities like safety, production [and] asset optimisation,” officials confirmed.
GHH BUMI Mining Service was first founded in 2020. Its crew has been working at Zawar Mala since January 2021, where it works with a fleet of more than 20 GHH load haul dumpers (LHDs), dump trucks and drilling rigs.
The newest generation of GHH mining equipment, including the new dump truck MK-42, LHDs LF-14 and LF-10 and two boom drill rigs FM 2.3 from GHH group company Mine Master are currently on their way to India and are expected to be on-site in early August.
GHH Bumi is also now preparing for the expansion of the Mochia Balaria Decline Project.
