Strata Worldwide has opened the doors to its newest location at the Core Innovation Hub in Perth, Western Australia.
The new location gives the U.S.-headquartered company a physical presence in the region for its hard rock customers and widens its global footprint. With the opening Strata has appointed Trent Jackson as manager of Hard Rock Mining (APAC) as well as Dan Couch as technical sales manager (APAC).
“This team brings decades of mining and technical experience to Strata and will be strongly supported by the East Coast team in Newcastle, New South Wales,” it said, noting that Jackson will oversee all operations in the APAC territory along with managing business growth and developing the hard rock mining market.
“Hard rock mining is a global focus for Strata and having a physical presence in Western Australia closely supports our goals and strengthens our corporate diversification plan,” company CEO Mike Berube said.
Jackson added: “Strata Worldwide is a household name in coal, and I am looking forward to bringing these technologies to the hard rock mining market here in APAC. The opening of the Perth office demonstrates Strata’s commitment to the hard rock mining sector and we are excited to deliver world class technologies to our customers.”
Strata’s offices and manufacturing facilities are located in the United States, South Africa and Australia.
