Operations using Minemax Scheduler Lite Edition now have similar capabilities to those utilising the professional version of the software suite, as Minemax has unveiled Scheduler 7.0.4 with advanced scheduling.
The update allows users to model more complex mine planning environments, even in the cost-effective Lite edition. These new capabilities include modelling multiple processing plants, determining optional material paths on various alternative destinations and identifying optimal cut-off grading.
MinemaxCEO Joe Kraft said the scheduling engine analyses users’ decisions alongside extraction sequence, haulage, stockpiling and blending to create a plan for the users that involves all constraints.
The new release also has functionality and efficiency enhancements for pit/dump group definition, 3D visualisation and reporting.
Minemax Scheduler 7.0.4 is available for all maintained or subscribed Minemax Scheduler users through the company’s Minemax Software Manager.
