Metso Outotec has won a €25 million for minerals processing equipment from Zijin Mining for its Qulong copper mine project in Tibet, China.
The agreement includes a 58-MW grinding circuit equipped with horizontal and vertical grinding mills, along with process automation and various types of installation and commissioning services.
The company did not indicate a specific delivery date but said it would apply the revenue to its third-quarter 2020 financials.
Qulong’s concentrator is built on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. Once the project is complete, the concentrator will have a 150,000-tonne ore handling capacity.
