AGGREKO, a leader in the provision of temporary power and temperature control solutions, has opened a new depot in Songkhla, Thailand, to enhance service standards for existing and potential customers throughout South East Asia. The new depot comes as Aggreko seeks to drive business growth in key sectors across the region, with Thailand selected for its strategic location and proximity to current and future customers.

Having traditionally served regional customers from a central location in Singapore, Aggreko says the new service depot will assist the needs of Thailand and neighbouring Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. The depot strengthens Aggreko’s presence and reach across Asia and allows it to help bridge the power gap in key markets. The company has 27 offices across Asia.

In increasing the scope and efficiency of its offering, Aggreko says it will enable customers to realize their business potential, drive business continuity and power mission-critical assignments until improvements to energy infrastructure can be achieved across the region. It will also allow Aggreko to provide faster turnaround times for services, increased flexibility and significant savings on equipment logistics.
