Former Australian High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea Ian Kemish has been appointed executive general manager of public affairs and social governance for Newcrest Mining. He was most recently senior director of Asia Pacific external affairs at ExxonMobil.
Finders Resources announces that Chris Farmer has resigned as a director and has stepped down from all executive and board roles within the Finders Group.
Centerra Gold has appointed Scott Perry as CEO, replacing former CEO and president Ian Atkinson. The company has also appointed Frank Herbert as president. Scott Perry has more than 20 years of experience in the gold industry, including with AuRico Gold, Highland Gold and Barrick Gold.
