Chinese construction equipment manufacturer Shandong Lingong Machinery Co Ltd, also known as Lingong, has launched its range of SDLG wheel loaders, backhoe loaders and road machinery into Nepal through local dealer Explore Earthmoving Pvt Ltd, part of the Panchakanya Group.
The former used equipment dealer will now sell new SDLG wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, motor graders and road rollers through its established network of sales, service and spare parts branches nationwide.
SDLG’s director sales support Anthony Neo says, “Explore Earthmoving offers unrivalled experience and knowledge of the local market and its customers. We are excited to launch our range of SDLG equipment through this trusted partner. SDLG is dedicated to delivering training and aftermarket support to its dealers worldwide, and we are already delivering sales and technical training to the salespeople and service technicians in Nepal.”
Last year, SDLG opened a spare parts warehouse in Jurong, west Singapore, to enhance its parts availability and service response to customers throughout Southeast Asia. SDLG is the first Chinese construction equipment manufacturer to open a parts depot in the region.
Explore Earthmoving is managed by director Er Sushil Shrestha, who has more than 14 years’ experience in the industry. With the Nepalese government making significant investments in the country’s road system and infrastructure development, Explore Earthmoving has identified opportunities in these sectors, as well as in the hydropower industry, which dominates the country’s electricity generation.
Er Sushil Shrestha says, “We are proud to become SDLG’s first national distributor for Nepal and we are certain that the reliable products coupled with our dedicated aftermarket support will result in a rewarding partnership for both parties. We look forward to duplicating the success that SDLG has achieved in other South Asian markets here in Nepal.”
