Austrade is organizing the OZMINE2014 Australian mining Networking and Seminar Series in Jakarta, Indonesia, on May 21.
Australian companies lead the way globally in the mining sector which means international mining companies are increasingly turning to Australia to see solutions to improve productivity, increase efficiency and provide innovation for mine operations.
Australia has a lot to offer mining companies in Indonesia and across the ASEAN region, particularly in mining equipment, technology and services (METS).
With the theme of ‘Productivity, Efficiency and Innovation in the Mining Sector’, the annual OZMINE event will bring together key Indonesian and Australian industry and government players focusing on opportunities in the Indonesian mining and resources sector for innovative and efficient companies offering new technologies, know-how, work flows and solutions that will enhance productivity and growth in the current operating environment.
There will be a morning session titled 'Exploration in Indonesia and its Importance in the New Mineral Policy Debate' conducted by the Indonesian Forum of Mineral Exploration and Development.
The afternoon session is dedicated to the OZMINE theme while there will also be a breakout technical sessions later in the afternoon on ‘The future of Indonesia Mining Regulation post-Presidential Election’.
Following these sessions there will be a networking dinner which will provide a platform for organizations and key players in the mining sector to connect on potential business opportunities across the mining spectrum.
“The Austrade Jakarta team is delighted to invite you to join in our OZMINE networking and event series 2014 which is aimed at showcasing opportunity to further increase productivity, efficiency and innovation in the mining sector via smart and effective partnerships,” says Austrade’s trade commissioner in Jakarta Julieanne Merriman.
