CIMIC Group’s processing arm Sedgman has received a A$120 million extension to its operations and maintenance contract for the Mount Pleasant coal operation in New South Wales, Australia.
The value of the deal now soars to $200 million and adds three years to the contract, which includes operations and maintenance services for the Hunter Valley complex’s 1,500 tonne-per-hour thermal coal plant.
Sedgman completed the construction of this facility and have been operating the plant since 2019.
Mount Pleasant, located in Musswellbrook, is owned by MACH Energy.
