ANDRITZ, which has a dilution system line-up for a wide variety of applications, has launched its EvoLute NL system for thickeners.
The new product for diluting thickener feed uses overflow liquid from the thickener to dilute incoming slurries or suspensions, providing an optimised solid-liquid ratio.
Designed for various flow rates between 600 and 9,000 cubic metres per hour (m3/h), the system will not interfere with a thickener settling process. It also can be used with low-pH-value slurries.
“The high dilution flow rates that the ANDRITZ EvoLute NT dilution system achieves translate into cost savings through lower power consumption,” the company said.
“It has also been optimised in terms of maintenance thanks to easily interchangeable parts that do not require the thickener to be shut down [and] the system can be integrated into the thickener automation processes.”
ANDRITZ’s products include flow rates of up to 15,000 m3/h.
