Agis Resources has appointed state-controlled China Coal Geology Mining (CCGM) as exclusive contractor for the exploration and development of gold reserves at its West Sumatra project.
CCGM is a subsidiary of China National Administration of Coal Geology and Agis’ corporate secretary Noor Syahriel says it will be responsible for exploration, drilling and infrastructure. “CCGM has experience in exploration and production in a number of mining contracts in Indonesia. The company is involved in production of coal, iron ore, nickel, manganese, gold and asphalt.”
Noor Syahriel says the West Sumatra concession is estimated to contain a good alluvial gold reserve and a great primary gold reserve. “By partnering with CCGM in the exploration and exploitation of primary gold project, Agis will gain experienced human resources, knowledge and better technical experience.”
