Peninsular Gold has been granted two exploration licences at its Tersang project area, which is to the north of its operating Raub gold mine.
Peninsular’s wholly-owned subsidiary SEREM Malaysia Sdn Bhd has received one licence at Kg. Tersang, Mukim Batu Talam, District of Raub, which covers about 6786 hectares and another licence at Sg. Tenggelan, Mukim Telang, District of Lipis, which covers about 2921 hectares.
The licences were issued by the Director of Land and Minerals for Pahang State and have been granted for 3 years.
The company has now been granted a total area of 12,149 hectares along the northern extension of the highly prospective Raub gold strike.
Previous regional exploration has already outlined numerous high rank stream-sediments gold anomalies in the new licence areas.
The company now has the opportunity to further expand its exploration and drilling program, and is confident that these new exciting grounds will soon lead to the discovery and development of further significant gold deposits to be added to its portfolio.
