The second Australian Resources Chinese Investment Congress in Adelaide this month will introduce potential investors to opportunities in the Australian resources industry, in particular uranium, oil and gas, and renewable energy.
It will also provide a forum for discussion of best practice models of achieving successful and sustainable relationships between Australian and Chinese companies and investors.
In its second year, the congress will be held on July 15 and 16 at The Grand Stamford Hotel Glenelg, Adelaide, and will be screened live to Chinese investors.
The congress has attracted a number of top quality speakers representing many aspects of the investment process as well as the resources industry.
They include South Australian Premier Mike Rann, Resources & Infrastructure South Australia deputy chief executive Paul Heithersay, G Resources Group vice-chairman Owen Hegarty, China Yunnan Copper Australia managing director Jason Beckton, CRU Group regional director Australasia Allan Trench, Magnetic Resources managing director George Salkadis, Clark & Marion co-principal Alan Claark and Westray Engineering chairman Wendy Simpson.

There will also be a presentation covering the new Australian ‘mineral resources rent tax’.
