Inter-Citic Minerals has received encouraging results from drilling on the newly-discovered Acadia Zone at the Dachang Gold Project.
The drilling is the first of the new exploration season at Dachang.
The first hole from Acadia returned results that include 57.8 metres averaging 1.37 grams/tonne gold and 10.0 metres averaging 5.62 grams/tonne, including an interval of 3 metres @ 12.0 grams/tonne.
The Acadia Zone is about 9km northwest of the Dachang Main Zone (DMZ) resource area and follows the base of the Carbonate Thrust Fault, a dominant fault structure which extends for 18km across the entire Dachang property.
Inter-Citic Minerals president and CEO James Moore says the company believes the new zone to be a potentially ideal host for high grade gold mineralization and further discoveries.
