Inter-Citic Minerals has received positive results from new exploration drilling at the Dachang Gold Project.
The first results from drilling include 13.0 metres at the DMZ-X Zone averaging 4.9 grams/tonne gold while a new trench at the Acadia Zone has returned 16.0 metres at surface averaging 8.18 grams/tonne gold.
The 2010 exploration program is focused entirely in new areas at Dachang targeting near surface resource expansion.
Drill results from Acadia include 9.0 metres averaging 4.02 grams/tonne contained gold and 6.6 metres averaging 4.88 grams/tonne contained gold.
Other results from DMZ-X include 8.0 metres averaging 2.45 grams/tonne, 5.0 metres averaging 3.21 grams/tonne and 2.0 metres averaging 10.70 grams/tonne.
At the NR-1 Zone one hole returned 15.0 metres averaging 1.51 grams/tonne while at XP one hole intersected 7.1 metres averaging 3.95 grams/tonne.
The drilling is part of a 25,000 metre program.
