Organizers of the Mines and Money Beijing 2013 Conference and Exhibition say the program is filling fast, with some of the most influential names in China’s mining sector signing on as guest speakers.
The annual conference provides an opportunity to find out what resources Chinese investors are buying and what they’re looking for.
More than 1000 top Chinese investors and 100 global mining companies will be represented at the event at China World Hotel on June 17-20. The conference was moved to its new venue last year, to accommodate the rapidly growing event on the mining and investment calendar.
Speakers have been chosen for their knowledge of China’s outbound investment scene and needs for mineral resources. Among the line-up is Jionghui Wang from China Minmetals Corporation, Bill Weng from Bank of China International and Liu Shanen, who is the chief economist at Beijing’s Gold Economy and Development Research Centre.
Organizers are touting Mines and Money Beijing as providing unparalleled opportunities for China’s resource investors to source their next overseas mining investment opportunity. 2013 program highlights include an expanded exhibition featuring more than 60 global mining investment opportunities, an onsite meeting zone and an expert masterclass on how to structure a successful outbound investment deal.
Investor panels, analyst insights and mining company presentations are also part of the conference agenda. The international exhibition will give leading resource investors access to mining company executives from across the world to discuss outbound investment strategies and international mining investment opportunities.
