US$140 billion worth of surface mining equipment will now be available at the desktop of mining clients worldwide as IntierraRMG and the Parker Bay Company align databases.
Parker Bay’s database contains comprehensive information including the location and details of more than 64,000 large pieces of mobile mining equipment in current operation at large surface mines across the globe. The database is updated every month to offer clients unique data sets and information on the equipment.
The new arrangement between IntierraRMG and Parker Bay has strengthened the integrity of the two leading mining industry database companies.
IntierraRMG’s managing director Peter Rossdeutscher says, “Working together in surface equipment data is a natural extension of the partnership IntierraRMG and Parker Bay enjoy from co-developing the world’s leading database on underground mining equipment.”
The surface mining equipment database is both mine and machine specific; identifying mines that operate large haul trucks, electric mining shovels, hydraulic shovels/excavators, wheel loaders, draglines, crawler and wheel dozers, drills, and motor graders. It canvasses all known large-scale surface coal, metallic and non-metallic mineral mines throughout the world and attempts to include every mine that operates one or more of the machine types identified above.
Parker Bay’s managing director Peter Gilewicz says, “We’ve worked with IntierraRMG for years. And knowing their expertise in mining industry data-gathering and research, we’re excited to be extending our working relationship.”
IntierraRMG delivers respected market and project reports for suppliers, material flow analysis, mineral economics policy and unrivalled consulting expertise. Its databases and sector-specific modules offer unique insights into lease ownership, company evaluations, M&A, risk management, due diligence, competitor intelligence and project pipeline evaluation.
The Parker Bay Company specializes in providing individualised market research, marketing database development, customer surveys, business planning and related consulting work for companies in the mining, earth-moving and capital equipment industries.
