The capital goods trade fair Future Mongolia will be held in the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar from June 19-22, with organizers expecting 120 exhibitors from across the world to participate.

The country’s so far scarcely assessable wealth in natural resources – especially coal, copper, gold and rare earths makes it one of the world’s richest countries in natural resources. This attraction has led many international mining companies to explore Mongolia, bringing with them demand for mining machinery.
VF Messen GmbH is the German company behind the Future Mongolia trade fair aimed at giving delegates an opportunity to see first-hand the latest in mining machinery, equipment and technology.
VF Messen GmbH chief executive officer Stephan A Fischer says his team is supported by VDMA, the German Machinery and Plant Manufacturers’ Association, that acts as a conceptual sponsor for the trade fair. “The first Future Mongolia held in May last year was attended by some 100 exhibitors from 14 nations. We expect these numbers to grow for the 2013 event after exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the event, making contacts with new customers and on site business deals. The trade fair is accompanied by an extensive conference program which is to involve representatives from state and private organizations, institutions and businesses from Mongolia.
Future Mongolia will again be held at the Buyant Ukhar sports complex which is next to Ulaanbaatar’s international airport.
