The 2013 edition of Asia’s largest mining and mineral recovery exhibition – Mining Indonesia - will return on September 4-7 at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, presenting an unprecedented showcase of outdoor exhibits.

Held for the 16th time, the exhibition has again underlined its premier status by recording another impressive growth milestone in attracting more than 800 exhibiting companies from 34 countries including group pavilions from Australia, China, Germany and Korea, providing for a definitive industry platform covering more than 35,000 square metres of exhibit area.

With key industry solution providers from the mining and mineral recovery sectors such as Atlas Copco Fluidcon, Bosch Rexroth, Coates, Daya Kobelco, Flexco, GMT, Liebherr, Komatsu, Mercedes Benz, MTU, Parker Hannifin, Sandvik, Suprabakti Mandiri, Tata, Trakindo Utama, TRX Build, United Tractors, Volvo Group and Weir Minerals, committed to showcasing their latest technologies, products and services, the event promises to be the focal point for the mining community in Indonesia and Asia at large.

The outdoor exhibit presentation for this edition will feature a complete suite of equipment on earth moving to transportation and material handling, including excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, dozers, trenchers, scappers, shovels and dumpers among others.

PT Pamerindo Indonesia’s senior project manager Maysia Stephannie says, “We are overwhelmed by the response received from leading equipment companies for this year’s event. Since April, all the available exhibit space has been booked out. Compared to the previous edition, Mining Indonesia this year has registered more than 40% increase in exhibit area occupied.

“The outdoor exhibits on display are very much an engaging representation of technology diversity and leading industry players. The endorsements from these companies echo their long term commitment, potential and confidence on the Indonesian mining industry,” she says. PT Pamerindo is the exhibition organizer. “With the multitude of technologies and solutions presented, industry stakeholders will no doubt be able to benefit from evolving opportunities.”

Mining Indonesia 2013 is endorsed and supported by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
