In a major new agreement, ITT’s Goulds centrifugal pumps will be supplied to the American Petroleum Institute (API) to support Shell’s worldwide operations.
Shell Global Solutions is a leader in the energy and petrochemical markets and is part of the Shell group. The agreement will see Goulds pumps delivered in several configurations to Shell operations and affiliates across the globe.
“The agreement with Shell is another significant milestone in ITT’s strategic focus and commitment to support the oil and gas sector with world-class pumps and systems throughout the total life cycle of the equipment,” says ITT’s president of Industrial Process Robert Pagano Jr.
“Oil and gas is now the largest segment of our Industrial Process business, and we are proud to be able to support our customers with solutions engineered to their needs. Our services do not stop at installation. We also provide a comprehensive range of aftermarket services to support our customers’ operations anywhere in the world,” he says.
The five year agreement has an option to be extended for an additional five years and includes the development of common specifications, terms and conditions and pricing.
