THAILAND - SEA to earn 80% in Song Toh and Boh Yai

An amended joint venture agreement has been signed by Southeast Asia Mining (SEA) and its Thai subsidiary for two historical operating silver-lead-zinc mines in Thailand. The agreement provides SEA with the option of earning an 80% stake in the mining lease applications at the Song Toh and Boh Yai mines, with the further option of earning an 80% share in the flotation plant, buildings and equipment during the next four years.

URANIUM - Toro’s Wiluna project approved

The Western Australian Environment Minister has approved Toro Energy’s flagship Wiluna uranium project after three years of community consultation, thorough environmental studies and rigorous government assessments. The project comprises two uranium deposits and is scheduled to annually process 1.3 million tonnes of ore to produce about 820 tonnes of uranium oxide concentrate, making it the most advanced uranium project in the state.
