INDONESIA - Intrepid upgrades Tumpangpitu resource

Assay results from the 2012 drill program at Intrepid Mines’ Tujuh Bukit project have led to a significant upgrade to the copper and gold resource at Tumpangpitu prospect. The new inferred resource is estimated at 1.9 billion tonnes @ 0.45% copper, 0.45 grams/tonne gold and 90ppm molybdenum, for 19 billion pounds of copper, 28 million ounces of gold and 380 million pounds of molybdenum.  1

INDONESIA - Killara signs MoU for Nunukan

Killara Resources has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which outlines the commercial terms of acquiring an 80% interest in two large coal concessions in East Kalimantan. The 13,000 hectare Nunukan coal project covers two concessions in the largely unexplored Tarakan Basin coal province, 6km north of PT Medco Energi Mining Internasional (MEMI)’s mine.

INDONESIA - Major drill program to start at Sangihe

East Asia Minerals will begin a 4600 metre drill program at its Sangihe Gold-Copper Project next month. The $2.8 million program has been scheduled to follow up on phase one and two drill programs which were completed in previous years at the Binebase and Bawone zones. A scout drill program will also be carried out at the Kupa and Taware Valleys.  1
