Ivanhoe Australia has announced a 60% increase in the mineral resource estimate at Kulthor underground mine in northwest Queensland. The deposit is part of the company’s Osborne copper-gold operation on the Cloncurry tenements. It is now estimated at hosting 7.4 million indicated tonnes @ 1.6% copper and 1 gram/tonne gold with an additional inferred 5.4 million tonnes @ 1.3% copper and 0.9 grams/tonne gold.
