The speaker line-up at Mines and Money Hong Kong 2011 is the best ever with delegates to hear from executives of leading mining companies as well as industry veterans.
They include Ivanhoe Mines executive chairman Robert Friedland, Fortescue Metals Group CEO Andrew Forrest, Goldcorp founder Rob McEwen, China Mining United Fund chairman Zheng Zhi, CITIC Capital senior managing director Fanglu Wang, Denham Capital director Bert Koth, Bank of China International's vice chairman of investment banking & head of natural resources Amy Cheng and Taurus Funds Management director Nick Farr-Jones.
The fourth annual Mines and Money Hong Kong will be held on March 22-25 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The conference and exhibition runs on March 23 and 24 while the event has a number of workshops and investment summits on March 22 and 25.
Last year nearly 700 people attended and this figure is expected to increase further in 2011 with more than 750 already signed up. In terms of companies, more than 400 companies participated with 137 of them from the finance community.
