BAUXITE - Aggressive 2011 campaign

Australian Bauxite Limited has started an aggressive 2011 drilling campaign on schedule at its fast developing bauxite project at Taralga, near Goulburn in southern NSW.

The 2010 drilling campaign ended in Queensland and Tasmania in mid-December and all drilling rigs were sent to Adelaide for full servicing in readiness for the start of the 2011 program.

BAUXITE – JV for Darling Range refinery

Bauxite Resources has executed a number of joint venture agreements with Yankuang Corporation for the design and construction of a modern refinery in the South West of Western Australia to refine Darling Range bauxite into alumina.

CAMBODIA - Focus on Kratie North

Indochine Mining is expanding its exploration program in Cambodia with a focus on its Kratie North project. The company has identified the potential for a gold mineralized system at Kratie North and a ground-based geophysics survey will be followed immediately by a drilling program.

Indochine's CEO Stephen Promnitz says, “Our present focus is drill testing two Kratie North gold targets. These will be covered by a major ground geophysics (IP) program which will continue until the end of March 2011.”1

CAMBODIA – Positive Antrong geological results

Positive geological information has been encountered in the course of drilling at the O’Thmey prospect in Brighton Mining Group’s Antrong project. Six holes have been drilled for a total of 537.7 metres with 444 samples collected and sent for analysis.

Drilling has intersected significant alteration zones comprising strong to intense sericite+quartz+sulphide mineralization grading out to chlorite+silica +/- epidote alteration with variable disseminated sulphide occurrences throughout these intervals. Veining is also present.
