MONGOLIA - Silver found at Zuun Mod

Additional results from analysis of Erdene Resource Development Corp's new porphyry copper discovery on the Zuun Mod project in south-western Mongolia have revealed silver mineralization as well as copper and molybdenum.

The results include 34 metres from 308 metres @ 9.24 grams/tonne silver with 1.3% copper and 0.013% moly, including 10 metres from 310 metres @ 3.1% copper and 22.2 grams/tonne silver.1

MONGOLIA – Shavdal drilling starts

Drilling has started at Haranga Resources’ Shavdal iron ore project in Sukhbaatar province. The first pass program will comprise about 2500 metres of reverse circulation drilling and is targeting an intense magnetic anomaly that is coincident with extensive high grade mineralization identified at surface.1

Australian refuelling specialist Banlaw has appointed Gordon Crane as its new sales and marketing manager. Gordon Crane was previously a sales and marketing manager at Bluescope Steel where he helped generate record turnover for its roofing subsidiary business.

Banlaw CEO Bill Clifton says this new role is designed to help Banlaw to continue to take advantage of the global demand for systems that assist with reducing fuel loss and fuel contamination as well safer refuelling.

PAPUA NEW GUINEA - Positive Mt Suckling results

Sampling by Papuan Precious Metals at two prospects of its Mt Suckling Copper-Gold Project has returned strong copper values. Ioleu Creek prospect samples returned values as high as 23.86% while Araboro Creek samples returned up to 1.16%.
