INDONESIA - Mining industry survey

The Indonesian Mining Association, in conjunction with Australia's Monash University, is conducting the inaugural ‘Survey of Mining Industry Perception in Indonesia’.

Indonesian Mining Association chairman Martiono Hadianto says the research is being conducted to identify how effectively Law Number 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining is being implemented and what impact it is having on investors.

INDONESIA - Option over Jelai project

Kalimantan Gold has executed a definitive option agreement with Tigers Realm Minerals regarding the Jelai Gold Project in East Kalimantan. The agreement follows completion by Tigers of the due diligence process.

The deed enables Tigers, an Australian-based, privately-owned resources company, to earn up to a 70% interest in Jelai by meeting certain project expenditure obligations and completing a bankable feasibility study (BFS).

INDONESIA - Three rigs at Pelangan

Three diamond drill rigs have been mobilized for the phase 2 drilling activities at Southern Arc Minerals' Pelangan epithermal gold-silver prospect in West Lombok.

The drill rigs have started diamond drill testing for high-grade shoots at the Central Raja target in the Pelangan Prospect.

INDONESIA – Batu Hitam North results

The first assay results from the Batu Hitam North prospect at Robust Resources’ Lakuwahi project on Romang Island have revealed significant precious and base metals mineralization. The results have extended gold-silver and polymetallic sulphide mineralization at the project.

All eight drillholes intersected potentially economic mineralization. Two holes encountered broad zones of polymetallic mineralization containing high grades of copper, including an intercept of 3 metres 2 4.03% copper from 65 metres.
