A conference in South Australia later this year aims to help Australian and Chinese companies and investors achieve successful business outcomes in the resources industry.
The second annual Australian Resources Chinese Investment Congress will be held at the Grand Stamford Hotel in the Adelaide beachside suburb of Glenelg on July 15 and 16.
It will enable potential investors to gain an insight into investment opportunities in Australian resources, including the mining sector with emphasis on uranium, the oil and gas sector, and renewable energy such as wind and geothermal.
Organisers Apollo Global and Vertical Events believe that the two-day congress will increase dialogue between China and Australia.
It will address the latest issues affecting the resources sector as well as the legal and commercial issues of doing business between Australia and China.
It will look at best practice models and case studies, and will provide an economic outlook for future growth. There will also be opportunities for one-on-one meetings.
The major sponsor is the Government of South Australia’s Primary Industries and Resources SA while other sponsors are Norman Waterhouse Lawyers, the Australian China Business Council, the SA Government’s Department of Trade and Economic Developments, the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy, and The ASIA Miner ®.
