KYRGYZ REPUBLIC – Uranium identified |
|
Diamond drilling at Raisama Limited’s Kashkasu II Project has intersected multiple, high grade zones of uranium mineralization. The shallow zones of mineralization have been identified over a strike extent of more than 150 metres with mineralization open along strike and down dip. Mineralization was intersected in all hole drilled and is traceable from surface and at shallow depths of around 100 metres. The Kashkasu II project consists of 2 licences that cover about 420sqkm. It is about 300km south of the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek and is in the eastern Chinese border region. Raisama, an Australian-based uranium exploration company, owns 75% of the company that controls the rights to explore and develop uranium at the project while Monitor Energy has a 22.5% interest in the project. www.raisama.com.au
