INDONESIA – Trenggalek sampling

Rock chip sampling at Arc Exploration’s Trenggalek Gold-Silver Project in East Java has produced encouraging results.
Continuous-chip samples taken across the Sentul East Vein in trenches excavated at the Sentul Prospect include 0.4 metres @ 9.6 grams/tonne gold and 18 grams/tonne silver, 2.0 metres @ 7.5 grams/tonne gold and 16 grams/tonne silver including 0.8 metres @ 13.4 grams/tonne gold and 33 grams/tonne silver, and 2.0 metres @ 4.2 grams/tonne gold and 7 grams/tonne silver.
The Sentul East Vein is one of two mineralized veins identified at the Sentul Prospect, which together have an identified cumulative strike length of more than 2km. Surface mapping indicates that the average width of these veins is at least 2-3 metres and in places up to 10 metres.
Results from trench samples between these intersections returned low to medium gold grades. Such variation of gold grade is typical of low-sulphidation epithermal gold-vein systems. The presence of high gold results along the Sentul East and Sentul West veins indicate potential for the occurrence of high-grade ore shoots along these vein-structures.
The Sentul East and West veins and the numerous narrower tension veins between them are largely untested along strike-length and down-dip. About 1000 metres of drilling in 12 inclined holes is planned to test these veins as the initial part of the company’s proposed scout diamond drilling program.
Arc Exploration has a 95% joint venture interest with PT Sumber Mineral Nusantara in the Trenggalek tenement and also holds a 95% interest in the Bima tenement in East Sumbawa of West Nusa Tenggara Province.
