  • Drilling successes for Angkor

    ANGKOR Gold’s ongoing 2017 drilling programs at the Okalla West, Okalla East and Oyadao South prospects have proven successful. Drilling at the Okalla prospects on the Banlung tenements is being conducted in cooperation with Blue River Resources while at the latter Angkor’s exploration partner is Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC).

  • Emerald expects positive Okvau DFS

    EMERALD Resources expects a positive outcome for a definitive feasibility study (DFS) for the Okvau Gold Project. The company believes the study will demonstrate enhanced project economics when compared to a pre-feasibility study (PFS) completed in 2015.

  • Excellent Okvau test work results

    RENAISSANCE Minerals has received excellent results from metallurgical test work on samples from Okvau Gold Project. Total gold extraction of 88-90% was achieved by coarse grinding and flotation, fine grinding of a low mass concentrate, and conventional cyanide leaching of concentrate and flotation tails.

  • Exceptional Kou Sa test work results

    FLOTATION test work on diamond core from the Prospect 150 area of Geopacific Resources Kou Sa Copper-Gold Project has produced exceptional recoveries. The work showed that the concentrate is very clean and does not contain deleterious elements.

  • Geopacific steps up Kou Sa program

    AFTER announcing an Aus$23 million fundraising package Geopacific Resources has stepped up exploration at the Kou Sa Copper-Gold Project in Phreah Vihear province. The company has added a third drill rig to extend its current campaign.

  • Green light for Phum Syarung mine

    THE Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved the certificate of registration for Mesco Gold’s Phum Syarung gold mine in Ratanakiri Province. With the process endorsed by Cambodia’s leaders, issuing of the full mining licence will now be completed by the Minister of Mines and Energy (MME).

  • High gold grades in early Kou Sa drilling

    GEOPACIFIC Resources has encountered high gold grades in addition to its recent high grade copper results at the emerging multi-vein sulphide Kou Sa project in northern Cambodia. The first gold assays from the first diamond hole drilling into Prospect 150 returned 3.9 metres @ 16.47 grams/tonne gold.

  • More bonanza grades at Kou-Sa

    A trenching program at Geopacific Resources’ Kou-Sa project in Cambodia.GEOPACIFIC Resources has received further bonanza results from ongoing drilling program at the emerging Kou-Sa Copper-Gold Project. The company believes the results from Prospect 150 Main point to a major copper-gold system.

  • New epithermal system extended

    DRILLING has encountered additional high-grade gold and silver mineralization in the recently discovered epithermal system of Prospect 190 (Gold) at Geopacific Resources’ Kou Sa project in Cambodia. Mineralisation has also been extended at Prospect 128.

  • PFS shows Okvau is robust

    A RECENTLY completed pre-feasibility study (PFS) has demonstrated excellent economics for Renaissance Minerals’ Okvau Gold Project in Mondulkiri province and confirms it as a low-cost operation with robust cash flow, particularly in early years. The PFS outlines an initial Life of Mine (LOM) of eight years, annually producing on average 91,500 ounces of gold.

  • Ratanakiri tenements not renewed

    THE Cambodian Ministry of Mines has not renewed a third extension application for the exploration licences of Indochine Mining’s Ratanakiri parcel of tenements. This means that no further exploratory work can be undertaken on the tenement with Indochine subsequently determining that the licences be treated as ‘abandoned areas’ or ‘impaired assets’.

  • Renaissance and Emerald to merge

    RENAISSANCE Minerals and Emerald Resources have entered into a Bid Implementation Agreement with the aim of merging. Emerald intends acquiring all issued shares of Renaissance that it does not already own by way of an off-market takeover offer.

  • Results strengthen potential of Okvau

    RENAISSANCE Minerals has received positive results from ongoing exploration at the Okvau Gold Project. Results continue to demonstrate the presence of extensive amounts of gold mineralization within the Okvau and O’Chhung licence areas.

  • Strong copper results at Kou Sa

    RECONNAISSANCE drilling at Geopacific Resources’ Kou Sa project in northern Cambodia has encountered a combination of shallow and high grade copper. The reverse circulation drilling at 117 Prospect revealed the second significant copper discovery at Kou Sa.

  • TPJ gains access to Newmont database

    TRIPLE Plate Junction (TPJ) has signed a licence agreement with Newmont Exploration, a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation, which grants TPJ access to Newmont’s proprietary database covering various exploration activities in Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia. TPJ also intends to change its name to Aurasian Minerals plc.
